Waxing the Truth

A lot of other women are surprised to learn that I get my eyebrows waxed. It all started when I admired the arch in Nicole Kidman’s brow. It was just so smug. So knowledgeable. Like wearing glasses...without wearing glasses.

It’s funny how others look at you differently when they find out certain things. Maybe they just assume I don’t shave or wax just because I tend to wear little (read: not noticeable) or no makeup? 

More importantly: why are my eyebrows even important to other people?

Did I violate some sort of social taboo by confessing that I get my eyebrows waxed?
