On My Soapbox: Part I

People ... There is this little stick-like-thing mounted somewhere near your steering wheel. When you move it up or down, it activates a light outside of your vehicle seen by those beside and behind you.

This is your polite way of saying, "Excuse me, I need to move into that lane that you are in." It is their job to kindly make room for you. At least that's the neighborly thing to do.

I've learned that sometimes people are not very neighborly.

If everyone would just communicate, I would no longer have road rage.

People ... That blinker-thing is your tool. Use it.

Thank you.

On My Soapbox: Part I

Preach it sistah

I was ranting about the same thing when I walked into work the other day after I had watched three (count 'em 3) police cars on the way to work turn without a signal.  The cheapest safety mechanism on the car.  Thank you.  ;-)

On My Soapbox: Part I

Take Note

I've noticed that turn signals are most often unused by drivers of luxury brand vehicles which has led me to believe that they are not standard in them.

It's a shame that people will spring for an upgraded Toyota (Lexus) for the heated seats and suspension, but not this simple safety mechanism.
