Celebrate your independence today

Happy Fourth, everyone!

While we celebrate our nation’s independence today, let’s take a minute and celebrate our own independence with the same passion. We are smart, beautiful, successful women, and we deserve the best life has to offer, and we need only rely on ourselves to get there.

Each of us has what we need to be our own woman! Here are a few lessons I’ve learned along the way:

People will try and make you feel like you “need” them in an effort to boost their own insecurities. Don’t let them.

If you reach deep enough inside yourself, you will find the strength you need to get through whatever life throws at you.

Use affirmations and gratitude to create your life, not negativity and complaints. These only reaffirm fears.

Have faith in yourself as the one person you can always rely on.

Celebrate you, every day.

We are all independent, strong, women. Let’s not ever forget it.
