Kids Get All The Answers
By Bad Wife Writes, Wednesday, September 2, 2009I'm not sure if anyone else out there has experienced this, but in my most adult years I can watch a kid's movie or read a child's book and it can give me answers to alot of the questions that I ask myself today - lol. For example - one of the things that I have struggled with growing up & with being a parent is the thought of happiness and the urge to want to feel good all the time & try to make my children feel good all of the time. Isn't this what society is geared towards - wanting to feel good all of the time? Yet when you watch Sesame Street, Noggin or read a book that shows a child crying, laughing & acknowledging and embracing all of their feelings & emotions - then you have to wonder why we as adults have such trouble in this area? Or why we try to always put a certain spin on things or deny what we are thinking or feeling? Hmmm....There's so much more kid geared information out there that we all need to tune into more.
