Start Laughing and Smiling More Often!

I have always been quite a great laugher. I laugh at myself and the things I do all day long. And if someone really gets me going on a good laugh, my eyes start to tear up and my stomach muscles start to ache. This got me thinking about laughter and simply smiling, and what are the benefits: 

  • eases YOUR anxiety/stress/depression
  • lowers YOUR blood pressure       
  • elevates YOUR mood.... IMMEDIATELY
  • boosts YOUR immune systems
  • improves YOUR brain function
  • makes YOU FEEL better... due to "the feel good" endorphins released
  • connects YOU to others
  • increases how others will see YOU in a positive and happy light
  • increases YOUR infection-fighting white blood cells
  • is an INSTANT WORKOUT ON YOUR BOD, without all the sweating :-)
Laughter and smiling affects our bodies in the most positive of ways! I am convinced it is a form of EXERCISE when properly taken to the stomach ache extremes ;-)  Laughing and smiling more at yourself, at others (not in a mean way, of course) and with others immediately enhances your general well-being on a day-to-day basis!
