Exercise Motivation Tips

I am so bummed BC it is running that gets my day going and on the right track for my general well-being. So, needless to say, I have NOT been running BC I enjoy sleeping in during the summer days, and then I miss my dang window to hit the trails. My motivation is all shot to "you know what" when I miss this window so I needed to figure a way to re-motivate my buns to wake up a bit earlier and do what I need to do to stay fit and stay NOT a biotch the rest of my day!!!
I suggested yesterday to all my clients that they create a personal "reasons list" for why they should make EXERCISE a healthy daily habit and how they would BENEFIT from this new commitment. Below are just a FEW of my reasons:
- to have more energy through out my day
- to be able to fit into all my clothes...most esp. so that I do not have bathing suit OVER-FLOW ;-)
- to be able to live a long, healthy life and to enjoy time with my girlies
- to not be uncomfortable in public/at parties/on the beach
- to have more energy through out my day...yep, WORTH REPEATING!
- to avoid taking prozac
- to feel great/secure while playing/having nookie ;-)
- to keep my heart and lungs strong
- to have more muscle def. instead of "third arm wave!"
- to rid my buns of cellulite
- to impress other people..lol, but it's true
- water board paddling (a new exercise standing on a board down on lake Austin)
- muddy buddies (a crazy race done every 3 mos in Austin in all dif't locations)
- biking creek road (need a bike)

Okay, I'll make a list and see if it helps. I'm trying to eat better as well, but you know I don't want to be rude to my dear freinds Butter and Sour Cream...
