More about Me: TALIA: Writer/artist, educator & amateur photographer. I'm a proud aunt, dog owner, and among many other things-- a lover of life. I'm a simply-complex girly girl who is passionate about the people and things that I love. I came from California to go to school in Atlanta 2 weeks after my 18th birthday and never looked back. California is my first love; it's always going to be my home no matter where I go. Atlanta, however, is the place where I grew into womanhood and learned how to stand on my own. I am grown-- but I'm still growing, learning, and striving to live a victorious life. The sun is on the horizon & I'm definitely on a chase in pursuit of my ideal life. I intend to enjoy the grind and the shine along the way, "The Dream Is Real." Watch me do it!

I am most proud of: The completion of graduate school-- yay! Armed & Dangerous with a shiny, new, handy-dandy MFA.
I am most guilty of: Hoarding excessive amounts of hair products. My conditioners overfloweth.

I'm a Pescatarian (also spelled pescetarian) foodie with an affinity for wine and raspberry lemon drop martinis, so cheers-- I'll drink to that Virginia!
The world would be a better place, if only: We'd learn to love and appreciate each other, flaws and all.
Interests: I love to shop; I take pictures of friends and family like the paparazzi; I prefer to dine out but don’t mind cooking. I enjoy reading, listening to ‘old skool’ r&b, surfing the net, perusing the cultural arts scene, and of course-- hanging with my girls. I'm a vegetarian but I’m absolutely passionate about food! Working out is a fairly recent endeavor that I have learned to embrace; it definitely helps me to stay balanced—in addition to writing and the grace of GOD! Gotta love Him!
