About Me: Life has afforded Tasha Bovain many roles: entrepreneur, journalist, marketing coordinator and rockstar (if you include her nights belting out '90s R & B tunes at the karoake bar). However, being an advocate for women is one she’s most proud to hold and has worked with several women’s rights organizations across Long Island to promote gender equality and economic empowerment. She writes on topics ranging from health and fitness to entrepreneurship and spirituality for modern women. When she’s not sticking her nose in everyone’s business in search of her next story idea, she enjoys sipping soy chai lattes, perusing the aisles of Barnes & Noble and lifting nearly double her bodyweight in dumbbells.
