Wander Longer

It’s a bit of a hike if you’re not a regular shopper of the high-end section of Natick Mall – oops, I mean La Collectionne... but this summer-long display of student designers is worth a trip to the spacious and quiet Neiman Marcus end of the building.

This month’s exhibit is by a variety of Mt. Ida College students, and they represent a nice wide range of tastes. It’s really refreshing to view their wares made of different fabrics and textures.. and you can picture the student working on them, because there are handy bios of the designers sprinkled around. 

  Some are light, seasonal frocks...

 While others could be theatrical garb for sci-fi shows (in my opinion, though I was told by some who actually watch sci fi that these clothes are pretty tame..)

so, when you’re out looking for a Mother’s Day gift, stroll over to see what’s on display from local college students. A different school will be featured each month through the summer.
