When my older children were three years old, I packed them a lunch box and shipped them off to preschool. I experienced very little anxiety or worry during this process. The girls were bored with me at home. They were eager to meet new friends and play on a new playground.

I’ve only watched the Duggars a few times, but the few times I have watched the show, I’m mesmerized by how clean her kids are. Do they take several showers a day? Do they eat food? Do they play in the dirt? Do they ever color with markers?
