New Orleans transplants Donna and Rena are both mainstays in Charleston’s creative arts scenes. Donna, a visual artist, has recently delved into storytelling by quilt, while Rena’s warm-weather vintagey venture, Happy Camper Snoballs, has locals longing for sweet summer nights.

Rena: “Sharing a sense of adventure and sharing a passion for art and learning are some of the many things that keep us together.”

Donna: “We appreciate each other for the individuals that we are and we accept the differences—it’s the differences that keep our relationship ever-changing.”
