If you thought coaches were just for Pee-Wee leagues, you’d be wrong. As a certified master coach, Cathy gets clients in gear. “Coaching is very different from consulting, counseling, and mentoring. Coaching is a strategic partnership in which the coach empowers the client to clarify goals, create action plans, move past obstacles, and achieve what the client chooses.” Cathy might spend one day with a major corporate CEO working on management techniques and the next she could be walking an individual through new work opportunities in order to find forward focus. “My niche areas are business development, communication and conflict and intentional living.” And Cathy’s “Guide from the Side” technique is all about allowing her clients to enhance their abilities.
