More sickness, less clues, more stress, less sleep.

Ok ok, I know, another one where I let all the contents of my bag out and onto the Skirt! community. Well, you know, at least I don't keep it in, right!?

What now, you ask! Well, more health issues and sleep deprivation stories. Original, no! I know, but in trying to keep my cool, I burnt out. My son is solid as a rock and barely ever gets sick, he never got sick as a baby, and nos as a toddler, he sometimes brings home a cold, but that's it! On the other hand you have my daughter who gets everything that passes, so in her short 4 months of life, she's had antibiotics twice, one hospital stay, and numerous colds which turn into pneumonia in a snap. It's a constant watch with her...

Last week, for a nice Valentine's present, my son brought back worms from daycare. I know it's common, I remember having it fairly frequently as a child also. Easy enough, I went to the pharmacy and asked for the appropriate meds. We all have to take it and wash everything like crazy. Done.

But no, not done.

My daughter is too small to take the meds, so they said to wash hands well. Duuuuhhh! That's not going to help her, now is it!?

Well, after a visit to the local ER clinic (which still takes about 3 hours to see a doc) and a 5 min consultation where the doc didn't even touch the kid but declared she had a gastrointestinal virus, I have to give her Pedialyte.

I know my daughter will be fine, the doc once again didn't say anything about anything but things will go back to normal.... after our vacation under the sun!

SICK OF THE WINTER AND ITS DISEASES!!!!!!!!!
