More about Me: I'm a simple person of simple tastes but I like quality, and believe that when something is done, it should be done well. There are few things I like more than intelligent conversation with family and friends and a good cup of tea in hand. I love an interesting story as much as the next person; I just never thought I would make it my livelihood, that is, listening to patient's stories and responding to them by trying to make a difference. It's one of the best choices I've ever made.
Favorite Music: Mostly Hindi, Tamil, Arabic and Korean songs...plenty of ethnic influences! I love English classics...Michael Jackson, ABBA, The Bee Gees...but I'll listen to pretty much anything that sounds good to me.
Favorite Books and Writers: One Day by David Nicholls, The Harry Potter series - J.K. Rowling, Shantaram - Gregory David Roberts, A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini, The Prize - Irving Wallace, The Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follett...just to name a few!
I can't live without: my faith and my family. Then come the finer things - good food, books and clothes.
I am most proud of: my mother, who achieved her dream after twenty years of hard work and struggle; she never gave up.
I am most guilty of: overindulging, especially at tea time, usually in something sweet or fried!

About Me: I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Sheffield, England, and split my time between Sheffield and London. Medicine is a big part of my life, but its far from the only thing I have going on - I love writing, books, fashion, music, food, film and travel, and make sure to make time for these things in an impossible schedule. I'm a big believer in enjoying the little things in life:)
