Inception

My husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary by viewing the movie, Inception, and then enjoying some wings at a local restaurant.
I got nothing to say but good things about both experiences. Wings are wings wherever you go so I'll just move on to the first order of business ... the movie.
My husband laughed because this is how I described the actors:
Leonardo - the boy from Titantic who I never thought was handsome but is now a good-looking man.
The kid from Third Rock.
Juno.
Guy of Indian descent.
Guy of Asian descent.
Good-Looking Guy with the cool accent who played Heathcliff and the bad guy in Oliver Twist on Masterpiece but I just shortened him to "Good-Looking Guy." As in my husband went to the restroom during the movie (do not do this you'll miss something and the person next to you will not want to explain what it was) and when he returned I told him "Good-Looking Guy did blah, blah now be quiet." And he laughed because he didn't even have to ask me which one I thought was good-looking. And when Good-Looking Guy squinched his eyes in that British way during a scene my sweet husband didn't even get mad when I went, "ohhh." Really, yummy.
Dead wife.
Luke from Witness with Harrison Ford, you know the little Amish boy who saw the murder? (though his part is small).
Guy who reminds me of the Harry character from Spiderman. Not the guy who plays the Harry character in the movie but the character because he's always wanted his father's approval but never received it and he's filthy rich.
I found one discrepancy in the sequential action. This is the scene at the coffee shop in France and involves Juno's coffee cup. Watch for it.
And I wondered why the one dreaming didn't just take over their own dream. I do that when things in a dream aren't going my way. I step in a direct it. I change something so the outcome goes my way. I become stronger, faster, smarter ... But then again one character kind of did that and if they did it to the extent I do in my dreams then we wouldn't have had a movie, would we?
Anywho - the movie review without giving it all away: Better than Eclipse. Similar in some ways to the first Matrix. Best movie of the year by far. Will go see it again, in the theater. Will pre-order the DVD. Will scan websites for posts regarding movie to see others' thoughts.
Get a sitter and go see it now. Hold your pee until it is over. Really. I mean it.

We really loved it too!
I had to pick my pee-pee time carefully, but my boyfriend promised I didn't miss anything big and I could still follow when I got back.
My favorite part was 3rd Rock Kid "floating" in the hotel corridor!
