About Me

Kids: Have grown kid(s)

Relationship Status: Oh, it's complicated

Name: Rachel Leopold

Occupation: Chef, thats Chef Rachie to you

Education: Attended The Culinary Institute of America in 2009, and no I haven't graduated yet.

More about Me: I am a serious foodie although that term is used far to often.

Favorite Music: Anything but not hard rap or blue grass

Favorite Books and Writers: Anything with written words.

I can't live without: Fuzzy slippers and chocolate. Also beauty products, flannel jammies and really good guy friends.

I am most proud of: My two sons, who although do crazy stunts at times and have made me a member of the Nice n' Easy club. I love them to pieces and life would not be as much fun without them.

I am most guilty of: Indulging myself in retail therapy

Words I live by: "The supreme happiness in life is the conviction that we are loved -- loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves."
-Victor Hugo

The world would be a better place, if only: There is way too many answers for this.

Interests: I love to read and will read just about anything that I can get my hands on. I am a product junkie especially make-up, I need another face for all the make-up I have. I am not a sports fan, I can watch it but that doesn't mean I am going to enjoy it. But I do love being outdoors and want to travel more. And I love to write, boy do I ever love writing.

Profession: Chef

About Me: Hello. Just a few facts about me. I am a long time resident of Manassas, VA, and I mean long time. I grew up here when it was a very small town.I am a single mom, 43 years of age, have two wonderful boys, ages 22 and 14. I am what people call a career changer, I decided after working at a desk for years in customer service that a big change was needed in my life. So I decided to go to culinary school, I attended The Culinary Institute of America in New York for a year before deciding that I wanted to take the food knowledge that I learned and those things that I knew and using that for a writing career.
