Not only is it a Lunar Eclipse tonight, but it’s also a full moon, winter solstice and mercury is in retrograde! That’s a quadruple whammy for you astrology followers out there! I’ve been feeling these energetic changes since last Friday morning!
I work up dreaming of the numbers 737, only to wake up hearing the radio news reporter saying the time as 837. Then I work up thinking about a TV show I did back in October, only to be called by another TV reporter from a totally different television station, telling me that he had seen me that night I was on the air. Confirming something I asked the universe to show me a sign about, and then a client of mine ends up on the news – with her own story – confirming everything that I predicted to her 3 weeks before hand!!!
You see I usually get these kinds of hits when Mercury is in retrograde, because I too was born with Mercury in retrograde, but with the moon being full, at the winter solstice and a lunar eclipse everything psychic is amplified to the power of 100!!!
So trust those nagging feelings that gnaw at you tonight. Yes, there is a reason why you are doubting his words. Yes, you should take that chance when every cell in your entire being tells you its right. Your intuition is on an all time high. Higher than it will be for some time to come!
You know the last time the full moon had a lunar eclipse on the winter solstice, (1638 AD – 372 years ago), start thinking “this day in history” here:
• Galileo was living out his days under house arrest
• The General Assembly of the Church of Scotland is summoned to Glasgow by King Charles I of England.
• Mazarin becomes first adviser to French potentate Richelieu on the death of Leclerc du Tremblay.
• Full moon was in total eclipse from 1:12 to 2:47 UT. And the solstice occurred later in the day at 16:05 UT

So what does this all mean? Well, you asked. This is the time for withdrawal. It’s winter time – the cycle of hibernation. The plants and their leaves fall off, the sap of trees drops to the bottom of the trunks (pulling back) and wild animals hibernate. It’s a time for rest and reflection. Now, would not be a good time to start a new project, especially with the planet that rules communication is appearing to move in a backwards motion in the sky.
To put it to you briefly without overwhelming you with astrological jargon, Mercury going into Retrograde means…. When the planet Mercury appears to be traveling backwards in the sky the term for that motion is called “Retrograde.” The astrological meaning for the planet Mercury is communications, agreements, directions, and anything fundamental from getting from point “a” to point ‘b” whether that means with physical travel or with communications between two people or a mass collective consciousness. In other words, or better yet in “Twitter” 140 txt characters or less …”Don’t Settle, Agree, Schedule really important meetings, have heart felt communications while Mercury is in Retrograde!” “Just Don’t!”
Take it from the wise astrologers out there, relax, sit back and let things just flow. Anything that you touch, plan, organize is like the proverbial slippery bar of soap in the bathtub, if you reach out for it aggressively it will shoot through the palm of your hand. If on the other hand, you gently open your hand, and let the natural current of the water flow the bar of soap to you, then you will have what you want in your hand without any resistance.
So take advantage of this time of year, and reflect upon what a year it’s been, and plan ahead for the future by brainstorming with no form, just let it flow and then fine tune it when Mercury comes out of retrograde and appears to be moving direct in the sky.

Mary Beth- so many people have died in the past week or two.... My neice's father, a friend's brother, another friend's nephew, a friend's husband, a friend's dog, am I forgetting something? This seems unusual , even for Christmas, and none of these people were over age 55- 60. Do you think this is related to this activity?

Susan- that's so weird! Same thing with my family. We just had another one (on my sister's side of her family pass away). Also, INSANE amount of car problems for EVERYONE I know. I'm so glad you told us this Mary Beth, we are planning the skirt! conference right now and it might behoove us to chill for a bit. When is this thing over?

You noticed too! The intensity of the holiday, and all the astrological action taking place, is certainly taking a toll on the very sensitive!
It is especially important during this time period to reach out to those who are stressed and isolated. Suicides are up during this time period, and with Mercury in Retrograde, a Full Moon on top of being close to the holidays doesn't help matters!
My husband noticed just last night that there seemed to be alot of cars also stalled on the side of the road! Good observation there Steph!
