viewsGardening to Ground
By PsychicMaryBeth, Wednesday, March 30, 2011, 1 commentsI am a psychic/medium. It's very easy, almost second nature to pick up on the subtle sensation of other people's thoughts and impressions. There has been so much turmoil in the world with the Earth Changes, people's priorities changing, that it's very hard to 'ground' or to find that sense of inner peace, knowing that everything is as it should be.
Lately, I've been getting very strong psychic signals to 'ground.' So much so, that I have been urged to start a garden. Not just a small patio variety kind, but a full scale all out garden. A 24 foot by 24 foot garden in my backyard, growing everything from tomatoes, to corn, to squash and lettuce. I lovingly call it 'the salad bowl.' And not only grow a huge garden but to include the neighbors in on this project. I mean food is not getting any cheaper, and the way the economy is looking considering gas prices it pays to have a garden supplying the summer vegetables.
This is a first for me. I mean I'm a 'city mouse.' The idea of growing a garden seems so daunting, but so far I am loving it. I even find myself looking forward to spending time weeding, and pruning and planting the seeds. Yes, I even said 'weeding.' It must be the symbolgy of pulling out the weeds that's reflecting the need to 'weed and prune' in my own life. I am love working in the garden.
Intellectually speaking I've been told that gardening is a very grounding and therapeutic experience. Now that I am doing that, I can say with certainty that's that the true. I can feel my own energy connect with the ground and also feel the energies of the wildlife that surrounds me. I feel more 'back to Earth' so to speak. In fact I recommend gardening for any soul that feels out of touch with themselves. Gardening is relaxing and it can help you put life into perspective. Gardening will slow you down from a fast paced world. Sure beats using medication or drinking - there's no regrettable side effects. Only sunshine, joy of seeing something grow from start to finish and the camaraderie of meeting and sharing with the neighbors.
How does your garden grow?
With love and light
