About Me: Tiffani Rose Brown
| Founder and CEO of Politics & Pumps| Who says NYC is the only place for FASHION, NEWS, and POLITICS? As a professional ghostwriter for both fashion and politics, Tiffani Rose Brown has had clients to appear in everything from Elle to Marie Claire Magazine. She also has ghostwritten political speeches for clients who have served in positions at The City Hall of Atlanta. Because of Ms. Brown’s love for both fashion and politics, she is founder and CEO of Politics and Pumps L.L.C. For more information please visit http://www.PoliticsandPumps.com She also runs a successful life-style blog that just launched Spring 2011 at http://www.PoliticsandPumpsBLOG.com Ms. Brown is no stranger to philanthropy and giving back. As a graduate of Georgia State University, she was the first person ever in GSU's history to consecutively serve two terms in the most coveted leadership position of over 28,000 students--President of the Student Government Association (SGA). She won over 6 scholarships, and dozens of awards such as special recognition from Congressman John Lewis for “Outstanding and Invaluable Service to the Community” and NAACP Award recipient for Community Activist of the Year. She was also the President of the Black Student Alliance (BSA), and is currently a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. When our country was devastated by the horrible effects of Hurricane Katrina, Ms. Brown helped raise money for over 120 students to volunteer in New Orleans four different times, and all at no cost. “With the help of The Katrina on the Ground Foundation, I made sure I raised enough funding so that the students didn’t have to pay for lodging, food, or travel. Believe it or not, a lot of organizations and churches were charging volunteers. It was important for me to make sure that people, who wanted to give their time to those that needed them the most, could do so at no cost”. Ms. Brown lives and loves fashion and politics. She states, "Politics would be NOTHING without women. And women would be NOTHING without fashion!" She lives in Dunwoody, Georgia and is currently seeking her Masters in Public Administration.
