One Hundred Years of Solitude

I just finished One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. My boyfriend's brother Jack gave it to me for Christmas, I started it the day after and just finished today. Wow, it's long. It would take too much for me to try and summarize it here, but please read it. I had a hard time, initially, keeping up with the generations of the Buendia family since they are all named the same friggin name, but in the end it was completely worth it. It was beautiful, magical, sensual, and I am very glad I stuck it through to the end and didn't abandon it half way through for a shorter novel.

Muy bien, señor Marquez, muy bien.
