Non-Negotiables

According to a certain relationship expert with a show on Bravo, it is important to identify your five "non-negotiables" in order to date successfully. Said expert claims you need to take five past relationships (and a Vicodin) and make a list of the one biggest issue with each ex that caused your breakup and/or made you miserable. Once you have five things, that is your list of "non-negotiables"...or your list of deal-breakers.

Which actually makes good sense. So I gave it a shot. 

UnfortunateIy, I could only come up with three documentable relationships...one of which may not qualify. So I decided it was okay to use quasi-relationships, and before I knew it, I had a list of six things and a mental note to get better at following directions. It's really not my fault though. Andy was such an ass he couldn't be excused with less than two. Whoops, anonymity. I mean "Dick." Dick couldn't escape with less than two.

Obviously, there are some extremely important deal-breakers that won't make it onto your list (i.e.: *Doesn't punch me in the face -or- *Doesn't posses a disturbing goat fetish) -- but these are basic enough that you'd never begin a relationship with someone like that to begin with. Hopefully.
