Here is a fun activity you can do with your children. Below is a list of names, these names represent African Americans who were noted for inventions. You would be surprised how many everyday things around us were invented by African Americans.
Throughout history, African Americans have invented some important and fun devices. Have your children look up, read and talk about what kind of obstacles these inventors may have faced, personally and professionally to be able to have a successful invention!
