End O' Summer Blues?

Ah, the very last week before we’re supposed to pack up the white jeans and the white shoes for drabber, more autumn-appropriate tones ... but hell, just who is the Anonymous Fashion Authority who dictated that Labor Day Rule anyway?

Rules Meant To Be Stretched, Meant To Be Broken are what’s on my chai-addled mind as we put the finishing touches on September’s Rules Issue – that, and the fact that at 104 pages, it’s the biggest edition of  skirt!Savannah/HHI ever! You’ll have to wait to heave a copy into your hot little hands until our printer delivers this big baby at the end of the week, but I will tell you that after reading, you’ll feel just fine about pairing your white Rock & Republics with boots this winter.

Even so, I’m making the most of my favorite ivory strappy sandals even though they rub like the devil. Not because I’ve succumbed to any rules, it’s just that you never know when the weather is going turn...
