Michelle Obama Watch

Regardless of your political party affiliation or which candidate you were cheering for during the primaries, issues of race and gender should be important to us all. Check out the article, "The baiting of Ms. Obama" by Jessica Valenti in The Guardian. In the essay, Valenti argues that American feminists who defended Hillary Clinton during the primaries must now do the same for Michelle Obama.

Valenti is the founder of the blog Feministing.com and author of "Full Frontal Feminism" and what I want to be when I grow up.
