Be Prepared

Last weekend my car battery died in the parking lot at a Bruce Springsteen concert. The AAA guy who came so very quickly was comforting and reassuring beyond the call of duty, and of course, I tipped him, but I wish I’d had one of Greer Chicago’s Civilette’s Portable Thank You notes to put the 10 spot in - – so much more civilized. They’re $6.50 for a pack of 10--carry them in your purse because you never know when you’ll need to depend on the kindness of strangers.
