HAPPYTOGETHER2jpg.jpg    I moderate a Single Mamas group on Gather.com and put together this list of resources for single moms; a couple sites listed include single dads. My Gather group actually includes a few men, some of whom do not actually qualify as either single or a mother, but wanted to support single mothers.

1. Single Mothers Online: http://singlemothers.org/SMO/index.php

2. Single Rose: http://www.singlerose.com/

3. The Complete Single Mother by Andrea Engber and Leah Klungness, PhD.

4. The Courage To Be A Single Mother by Sheila Ellison

5. Sing Your Own Song, A Guide for Single Moms: How to Get What You Need to Take Care of Yourself by Cynthia Orange

6. The Mother Trip: Hip Mama's Guide to Staying Sane in the Chaos of Motherhood  by Ariel Gore & Ellen Forney

7. The Hip Mama Survival Guide: Advice from the Trenches on Pregnancy, Childbirth, Cool Names, Clueless Doctors, Potty Training and Potty Avengers by Ariel Gore

8. Living Well as a Single Mom by Cynthia Yates

9. M.O.M.S. (currently reorganizing): http://www.singlemoms.org/ (also has info for Single Dads)

10. Single Parents Network (for both single Moms & Dads) http://www.singleparentsonline.net/

11. The Bad Mothers Club UK, a great site which provides support, resources, products, and forums all served with a generous helping of cheeky Brit humor. The site includes Bad Dads.http://www.badmothersclub.co.uk/jsp/index.jsp
