It’s not even Friday and I’m already having some drinks to start the weekend and my husband and daughter are playing Rock Band. They are addicted to Rock Band! But it’s a great family fun game. My seven-year-old daughter is great at some of the songs.

Which reminds me. My little girl had her 15 minutes of fame the last couple of weeks. She was used as a model in an insert/ad for school uniforms. The rep for the account told me they needed some Hispanic models and she asked if I was intererested in bring my daughter in. They ended up using two pictures of her, one from the waist up shot on the cover and a body shot on the inside. It was great! Especially when friends, who we didn’t tell about it, have asked us if that was her in the ad.

So it’s the weekend. As excited as I am to start the weekend I’m not looking forward to the house cleaning! I am so behind on the cleaning because I’m back on the wagon of working out. I walked 3 miles on Tuesday at the park and I went ot the gym yesterday. I’m going to the gym tomorrow again for just an hour.

Why is it so hard to balance those two things? Cleaning house and working out. I can never do both. I have to do one or the other. So since I have been working out this week I haven’t cleaned. It is so hard to balance life, working out, motherhood, etc. etc. etc.

It’s Friday! I’m excited!
