A wacky soundtrack by yours truly

Monday, July, 21, 2008

I’ve decided since pretty much nothing is personal anymore (I like to write, so telling all is sometimes--ufortunately--my nature) I’m going to spill the beans on what I listened to growing up, which should explain a thing or two about why I am so unaplogetically strange sometimes. Here goes.

The first cassette I owned: Ace of Base

The first CD I purchased: Kriss Kross (I’m laughing, too)

The first mix-tape I made included a lot of: Matchbox Twenty and Stone Temple Pilots

My high school mix tapes were all about: The Smashing Pumpkins, Bush and The Red Hot Chili Peppers

I developed photos to: Moby

I wrote poetry to: Jewel

I got ready to this in college before going out: Death Cab for Cutie and Ben Folds, various Broadway soundtracks provided by my awesome bestest, Drew

I made out to: Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie

I cried to: Coldplay, The Cure

Before date night I listen to: The Killers and Amy Winehouse

Now I write to: Great Northern

I work out to: Beyonce

I sing in the car to: Mariah Carey

I sleep to: Arcade Fire
