Reporting from Dawson's Creek

I’ve been spending a few days with family in Wilmington, NC—or as our designer Elizabeth Allen prefers to call it, Dawson’s Creek. 

(Note to Elizabeth:  I’m updating this blog at the Port City Java near Wrightsville Beach, where I used to see Dawson’s dad getting coffee.)

If you find yourself over this way on a Saturday, you might like the downtown farmers’ market.  It’s facing the Cape Fear River.  Like the All-Local market in Columbia,  all the vendors are local growers and producers. 

Downtown Wilmington is also the birthplace of Whistler’s mother and the location of many Dawson’s and One Tree Hill scenes. 

(Note to Elizabeth:  I think Joey Potter used to wait tables at the restaurant below, before becoming a Scientologist.)
