i heart hill

i’m still driving around with the hillary sticker on my car (right by linda ketner’s) and i’ve decided that i don’t think i’ll take it off.. the dems are doing such a great job putting forth the idea of unity that i think hill still has credibility in showing off my views (whether the unity is fake, deserved, or legal...?).

but it’s things like this make me happy. though they also make me disgruntled and a bit perturbed, all in all, it has to be done and we have to move on because there is literally nowhere to go (especially not to mr mccain, don’t you even think about it).

so i’ve just donated $20 to hillary to pay off her campaign debt. and although i’ve donated some dollarinis to her before and it now seems silly to pay off “debt” on the money i gave her.. oh well. it’s in my head that one day i, too, may run for office and i hope women (and men!) rally behind me and no matter what the outcome, continue to support me.

and that’s what we need to do – continue to support, fund, put faith into, and get excited about the future.

i like that barack finally donated the symbolic $2300 to hillary’s campaign (the most a single person is allowed), and i found myself wondering if michelle (let’s face it – the real moneymaker in the family) had donated any green herself.

“I wrote my check to the Hillary for President Committee,” said Mr. Obama, who was greeted with booming applause. His wife, Michelle, also contributed $2,300.

“I recognize that this room shares the same passion that a roomful of my supporters would show,” Mr. Obama added. “I do not expect that passion to be transferred. Senator Clinton is unique, and your relationships with her are unique. Senator Clinton and I at our core agree deeply that this country needs to change.”

...sigh. it may take a few more $20 donations, but i’m invested in the next 8 years and i’m glad they are too.
