Take your dog to work...

This Friday, June 20, is officially “Take Your Dog to Work Day.” 

I mean it. Really. Have a look for yourself. 

I’ve always wanted to be able to bring my big, loving mutt with me to work – Murphy is a golden retriever/whoknowswhat mix, and he’s big and lazy and mostly just sleeps all day, so he’d be the perfect dog for workdays. Plus, he loves to sleep in tight spaces (strange for a 90-pound dog), and my desk would make the perfect little doggie den.

I’ve got a lunch meeting on Friday, though, and I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be appropriate to bring him along, so I don’t think it would be a good idea to test out Take Your Dog to Work Day this week. I would really love it, though. And I think he would, too.

Oh my gosh. I'd love to bring Maya, but the temptation of Lucy (Christina's dog) on the other side of a cubicle would be too much temptation for her. I actually brought her in last week and she was literally MOANING, knowing that Lucy was so close, but I wouldn't let her go because once Maya starts playing, she never stops.
