gals! and dogs!

friends of mine know that i am a big fan of dogs. i have to restrain myself from picking up strangers’ dogs and squishing them while squealing with glee. 

so when i heard that our may girl power was a mini assistant at the charleston animal society, i couldn’t wait to meet her and all her furry friends! zoe hyman, a teeny girl with a huge heart, is the daughter of kay hyman, director of outreach and communications for the CAS.

here are some cute little babies that were waiting for homes, there are lots more like them!

intern gervase and i had a jolly time chatting with kay and zoe and hanging out in the dog dorm. here’s zoe trying to “catch” a puppy for me to hold (except that the tan one wanted to play instead):
