The Lazy Bookclub

My bookclub loves to get together for dinner and wine, but we are often too lax or ambivalent to be able to decide on a book we all want to read. This month it was my turn to host, so I pulled out the Spirit version of Table Topics cards. All through dinner we chewed on questions about our faith (or lack of), what makes something sacred, what we’d do if we knew we had 5 years to live, reincarnation, life after death and on and on. I think it was one of the best meetings we’ve ever had. I especially recommend the Family, Spirit and Original versions of  Table Topics. Girls Night Out is too vapid for my taste and the Bookclub version was all about...books! It made me feel like I was back in school and writing a book report, but it may be just the thing for your club---especially if, unlike mine, you actually discuss a book at your meetings!
