If you call me today, or tomorrow, or anytime between now and Tuesday, I won’t talk to you. Not because I don’t like you, but because I won’t be here: I’m going to England.

Monday is my one-year anniversary, and (don’t get me started on my greencard woes) my husband is still in England. We lived there for a year, and I just moved back to start my skirt! job a couple of months ago. I celebrated my birthday without him a month ago, and at that point I decided being apart for special occasions was not on.

So, off I go this evening! Can’t wait for TopShop and Cadbury and – let’s face it – my husband!
