Tuckahoe Plantation is celebrating it's 275th anniversary this year with a Candlelight Christmas Tour. It will be a real treat for Richmonders looking to experience an old fashioned Christmas this holiday season. Tuckahoe, circa 1733, was Thomas Jefferson's boyhood home and is the site of the schoolhouse where he first began his education. The mansion house will be decorated for the high holiday, adorned in fresh fruit and greens. A cedar Christmas Tree cut from the plantation will grace the great hall.
