Bewitched, bedazzled, bejeweled...

Here’s the thing about my personality:  I am an ideas person.  I have great ideas: big ones, small ones, amazing ones, crazy ones.  I’ve got ideas for party themes, book titles, alterna-jobs, and start-up businesses.  You need an idea?  I’m your girl. 

What I don’t have, my friends, is follow-through.  That’s why I am so super-proud of myself right now.  Finally, I’ve taken one of my ideas and made it real.  Well, sort of.

I’ve always thought I’d really enjoy making jewelry, and I finally enlisted the help of a new friend to make it happen.  Now, I’m turning out bracelets and earrings like there’s no tomorrow, and I am super-pumped.  Turns out, I’m actually pretty good at this.  And I love the extra creative outlet it gives me.  I love writing, but by the time I finish an entire day of writing at work, I just can’t bear to turn on my computer at home.

This way, I’m being creative and looking extra beautiful with all my new jewelry.  I’m also getting a head start on Christmas gifts.  (That’s right, friends and family: you’re getting jewelry!)
