The quality of the above photo is rather poor, as was the audio on Thursday afternoon as women of all ages pressed in for a glimpse of the famous parenting duo. I was absolutely flabberghasted with the turnout. The crowds started pouring in hours before the couple was scheduled to appear on the Southern Women’s Show stage. Luckily, skirt! had a booth within sight of the hot spot.

Their arrival merited cheers that echoed through the high ceilings of the convention center, as enthusiasm mounted. To the dissapointment of hundreds, the two came sans their eight little ones. Regardless, they drew an impressive crowd of fans, bringing their questions and comments. I couldn’t hear a darn thing.

I’ve been known to get sucked into a day-long marathon of episodes. It is rather remarkable how tight of a ship those Gosselins run. Kate is like a well-oiled machine, and together they are like professional parents.

Four days, thousands of women, hundreds of vendors, samples galore... The highlight? Jon and Kate on mute!
