­I can’t believe it’s October already. How many times have you said that to yourself this morning?

Well, it’s going to be an incredible month for  motivated women around here. Starting Thurs., Oct. 2, there are a host of events for high-powered women to meet and mingle at. Keep an eye on the ever-changing skirt calendar...

Here’s an abridged rundown:

Oct. 2, State Attorney General Martha Coakley and Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral join forces to support state Senate candidate Sarah Orzoco at the Omni Parker House. ­saraorozco.com

Oct. 16, there’s a luncheon to raise funds for Rosie’s Place at the Hynes Convention Center. ­­rosies.org

Learn about a new nonprofit, Building Impact, at a young profess­ionals event at Emerge Spa, 275 Newbury St., Boston, 6-8pm, (and bid on Celtics tickets). buildingimpact.org­
