Are you ready to be a PANTHER?

A new woman means a new acronym

This post is in honour of the flight attendant who endangered his personal safety yesterday by telling me that my glasses made me look like Sarah Palin. Just for the record,  I ordered them way before McCain announced his pick, and despite them having being tainted by that comment, I still love them. Also, I’m sure he meant it as a compliment. Or, he meant to imply that I look like the kind of woman who defines herself by the sports her children play. Yeah, I’m aspiring to be “just your average badminton mom.” That’s right, my kids are going to be nerds.

Either way, I still love my glasses. In honour of that brave flight attendant, I give you feminist comedian* Sarah Haskins’ take on Sarah Palin:

“PUMAs are women who can’t get over Hillary.
Cougars are women who bang younger men.
But a PANTHER is a Proud American Needing Token Hillary Estrogen Replacement.”
