Okay I confess! I *hate* this part. Whether it's for MySpace or Tribe or worse- a job interview, the open-ended request to talk about myself is painful - like a needle to the eye. Or like a 103 foot drop on a roller coaster. My advice: Read my blogs! You'll get to know me that way...eventually.... ...

No matter what you think of her (I'm not a fan, let's just say that), she's got people talking, which is always good in my opinion. I agree with some of the posters there -- she seems like a person I wouldn't mind getting to know, but as vice president? No thanks. Nora

I agree with you! Discussion is the hallmark of a healthy democracy. There was a political cartoon in the paper yesterday that showed Palin as barracuda, then Palin as a pit bull, and Palin strong arming a Moose. The last slide had a body blocking Palin saying "No hard questions." So much for real discussion. I think it's time to get past the novelty of Palin and look hard at her. Get over the gushing and wanting to be her best friend. See my new blog (link below). Time to get serious folks! http://greensboro.skirt.com/node/10735
