Valentine's Day Weekend

Ok...first thing I wanna say is Hubby bought me Roses...ROSES! Bright beautiful Fushia colored ROSES. I didn't think he had an ounce of romance in him. But I was wrong. Then He bought me this little heart shape pillow & a throw (with hearts)...I was taken aback... I tell ya. Todays been nothing but surprises for me. Our son called and wanted to take us out for a pre Valentines Day Dinner,,,that was nice. We went to Fatz Cafe in Aiken SC... On the way there it started snowing. We might get snow in the south once every blue moon. But we got a LOT & still getting it.

 Fatz was killer. I could live off their Potato Soup. We came home & our son went home but not before Momma here gave him the homemade Valentine Stuff I been working on since Jan sometime. I have been seeing glittery hearts in my sleep. I made so many! I made little pouches of candy for the kids & grandkids & their spouses. Well ,maybe not little pouches,  have any of you seen the really BIG Reese's Cups? Well the pouch contained one of then, a huge Hersheys Kiss, and other goodies. I was on one of my Suzie Homemaker binges. I went all out.

Back to the Snow... HA! WE GOT SNOW! I took pictures of my husband in the snow making a snowman. Then I hit him , Not ONCE, but TWICE with a snowball right at the ear. Ha! He tried  to hit me with one but I hid behind a column at the front of the house. The roads may ice over tonight. I hope the power lines dont. I dont want to be without power.
