About Me

More about Me: I am a 46 year old Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Writer, Cake Decorator who has a zest for life and plan on staying that way. I came from a loving family. My Mom & Dad were 35 & 38 when I was born. Both of  my brothers & my sister were teenagers when I was born. My Mom, Dad & one of my Brothers have passed on. My other Brother is in a nursing home. I am very close to my sister even with the 15 year age difference between us. Where am I going? Hopefully, I will be a well known Author if everything goes my way. I love to write.

Favorite Music: I love all music. Motley Crue, Little Richard, Daughtry, Creed, Toby Keith, Beethoven,Etta James, Tom Jones, Faith Hill, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Dierks Bently, Luke Bryan...I could go on for hours.

Favorite Books and Writers: James Patterson, Stephen King, Johanna Edwards, Karin Gillespie, Lori Foster

I am most proud of: My Family. I have 5 wonderful kids who have blessed me with 8 fantastic grandchildren. Also I'm very proud of my Writing. I have done work for 2 Chicken Soup For the Soul books, I have free lanced for a local newspaper, and I'm a 2009 NaNoWriMo (one of many) winner as of today, Thanksgiving day. If you dont know what NaNoWriMo is, its a contest that happens every November giving you the whole month to write a 50,000 word novel.

I am most guilty of: Buying books,magazines & Ink pens. My husband gets so irritated with me over my love of reading. Also another guilty pleasure is my Journals. I have like 15 of them.

The world would be a better place, if only: People would take the chance and really listen to each other. Care about others feelings. Dont take a moment of time for granted. Sometimes you have to learn this the hard way.

Interests: I love Journaling, blogging, spending time with my Grandchildren. I am a young Grandmother and I take great pride in my family. I usually attend any local events going on. I love to dance, walk at the Riverwalk, and take weekend getaways to Savannah Ga. Thats Hubby & my usual place we go to play. I am one of the many winners in the National NaNoWriMo contest that goes on every November for the whole month. On December 2nd they will announce the Winner. I love to read. My hubby gets mad because of all the books & magazines I accumulate, but, he will get over it. I have a craving for knowledge. You are never too old to learn something new. Keep a open mind and you will prosper.
