I Love It When......

I don't know how things are in other parts of the country today but in Maryland it is a rainy, dreary day.  Today is the type of day that makes you want to pull the covers over your head and just sleep (and eat, of course).  So in an attempt to cheer myself up (and spread the love your way) I have decided to focus on some good stuff for the day.  Here goes. I love it when....

• The color on the trees seems to change overnight and the air is so crisp you can't help but to welcome fall with a smile


•  I treat myself to a hot beverage of choice in the morning with no concern for the calorie content (of course I want whipped cream with that!!)


•  I actually encouter a driver on the road who is intentially being nice (what a rareity in Maryland!)


• My son hugs me super tight when he wakes up and says "mommy, I booga, booga, booga." (booga, booga means I love you)


• my husband loads the dishwasher AND puts our son to bed all in the same night :-)


• I can have girl talk with my favorite cousin in the whole world right before I hit the sack


• I have been at work for over 2 hours and have only received 2 new emails


• One of my favorite characters leaves a show and the show manages to still be pretty good without him (I still miss detective Stabler from SVU though)


• I finally found someone who knows how to do my eyebrows the right way.  Thank God!


• My "play it by ear" husband decides to make holiday plans over a month in advance because he knows that the stress  of waiting can kill a planner like me


• I can watch something I missed whenever I want because some genius created DVR and On Demand (I can't wait to see last night's LifeClass this weekend!)


• I actually catch and kill a fly in my office that has been making my life hell since yesterday. 


• I catch up with my BFF and tell her everything!  Nothing beats that. 


• I wake up and relaize that although some things in life are crappy a lot of things are pretty darn good and that's what really matters.
