Faking a Pregnancy? Seriously?!
By Mlouise, Thursday, October 20, 2011, 1 commentsIf I read one more headline about Beyonce faking her pregnancy I am going to scream. I am actually a Beyonce fan so when she rubbed her little baby bump at the VMA's I was happy for her and Jay-Z. I could not understand why Kanye West was chessin' like he had something to do with the conception but that is another story. I did think people were going a bit overboard about the whole thing but I understood because not only is she famous but her husband is as well.
But for the life of me I can't imagine what started these stories about her pregnancy being fake and why so many people are buying into it. First of all I would hate to think that grown a$$ Beyonce would pull a stunt like that for publicity. She is richer than rich and so is her husband. She has a huge fan base. And she is very talented. What can she possibly benefit from lying about carrying a child?
Let's imagine for a second that it was a lie and Beyonce was actually not pregnant. Can you imagine how angry and disappointed her fans would be. At least I know I would feel that way. I mean I don't know the woman at all but I respect her body of work and her talent and I would at least expect her to be honest about something as serious as carrying a child.
I think it's sad that people think so little of her. I also think it's sad that a successful, married, black couple is starting a family and so many media outlets find it necessary to start all these rumors about it being a stunt. I know they are celebraties and they sign up for the scrutiny but they are human. As a mother I know I would be so hurt if anyone ever thought I faked a pregnancy. Becoming pregant is a struggle for so many women and for those that do become pregnant, many suffer a miscarriage. To lie about bringing a child into the world is unforgiveable in my book and I can't see why Beyonce would do that.
I wish her and her husband all the joys of parenthood. I hope she has a smooth pregnancy and a healthy, happy child. I'm wishing you the best, B.

Ugh celebrities and pregnancies
What is wrong with the media that they have to butt into everyone's business? If I see one more magazine cover about a celebrity being pregnant because she forgot to suck her stomach in when the paparazzi walked by I'm going to scream. And now to start the opposite rumors about Beyonce NOT being pregnant just to sell magazines or get ratings - it's disgusting. But yes, I hope she is not faking her pregnancy -I'm sure she's not- because that would be even more disgusting.
