More about Me: Miranda is not your ordinary literary publicist/film producer; she comes as a package deal with extensive experience in print, book publishing, television, theatre and film. Her film True screened at the L'Entrepot Cinema in Paris, France and Marisa Romanov made its debut at the 2001 International Venice Film Festival earning the Audience Choice for short film and alternate showing at the 2001 Berlin Film Fest. She also directed the PBS TV show Eat Art as well as the documentary Walk On for The Learning Channel. Formerly President of Southeast Writers Conference, Miranda now helps authors promote their books to top-level radio and television venues. As a down-to-earth people person who understands writers, she loves to strategically arrange media placements for them. “Since I was a kid," she says, "I always loved to write and create play scenarios with friends and family. Sometimes in the grade school days I'd create a play and we'd perform it for family or the neighbors. I also 'played office' a lot as a kid. I think because I was surrounded by family members who were entrepreneurs and business owners, I learned the quality of business and career at a young age." When asked what quality makes her one of the top PR strategists around, she says that where she has many qualifications for the job, what's most important to her is that she enjoys what she does -- networking and connecting with a wide range of influences. Being an industry insider, Miranda has the network available to propel authors into the limelight perhaps more quickly than someone unfamiliar with the industry. On the topic of success Miranda adds, "I made up my mind to always surround myself with like-minded, optimistic people that hold diverse backgrounds both personally and professionally. That has shaped how I think and have grown as a person. In essence, it becomes what I do for clients.”

About Me: I am a Publicist and an award winning writer, producer and director. My brand is Miranda Spigener, Film - TV - Literary. I am also the Executive Producer of Deliciously Entertaining with Charlie...Recipes Simplified. This is a different kind of cooking series that will debut nationally Fall 2011. I provide personal PR, Campaign/Brand Management and the packaging/producing of entertainment projects. The company is based in Houston, Texas with bases in New York City and Los Angeles. My goal is to produce and publicize talent and projects that will be highly commercial, with heart, passion and possess a strong independent spirit. “PR and Publicity is about promoting and gaining exposure to your business or project, but I want to take it to the next level…I want to be a part of someone’s dream and help it soar to it’s fullest potential." I am a Partner and Producer with VerveStar, a PR Entertainment Company, our publishing division offers Publicity benefits beyond the range of other publishers. We focus on the publicity of the author and title, and then the publishing aspect. In our book-to-film inclusion, and in integrated fashion, we can examine all of our options to consider bringing a title to film; adding another dimension to authors allied with us that rivals the publicity and publishing aspect itself all the while complementing it.
