Months ago, I was flipping through a Parenting magazine at one of Isabella’s doctor visits (yes, I’m confident that there were all sorts of germies on it), and read about a diaper bag that I simply went over the moon for.
Totally chic, unique, and designed by a former-astronaut-turned-mom, I tore out the little blurb about the to-die-for bag.
Well, motherhood being rocket science and all, I spaced-out and never got around to ordering one (though I did take a brief peek online at them!).
So once I determined that I did indeed need a new diaper bag, I went on one of my usual shopping missions to track down that astro-bag. I googled everything related to diaper bags and astronauts that I could think of (which brought up article after article on the Lisa Nowak trial). And today, I’m happy to divulge that the eagle has landed.
The prices really were not sky-high. And since I was unable to choose if I needed the traditional Alexis Diaper bag or if I wanted a more hip, purse-style toddler bag, I purchased both and chose custom fabrics and features like Scotchguard, a Lobster Claw Clip for my keys, and additional pockets.
Thanks Kirsten James… please ship mine soon!
