How much longer can I ignore the warning signs?

She's quiet.

She's polite, maybe even shy.

She's pretty.

From what I can tell, other adults enjoy her company.

Everyone,  except my 'gut'.

I don't have a specific reason not to like her.

But the same thing happens every time she comes into contact with me.

My stomach does this sickening, swooping thing that makes me want to keep my mouth shut and look for a quick way to exit our conversation.

I've had this feeling before, (but usually with men not women).

My gut or intuition is screaming at me, and I don't know why.

I feel childish not being able to recognize why I should be guarded from this woman.

How does my stomach (apparently the location of my intuition) know more than me?

Maribeth, welcome back! I

Maribeth, welcome back! I say trust your gut... until there is evidence that shows you it's time to second guess it. (Yeah, forget that whole innocent-until-proven-guilty thang, haha.) My gut is rarely wrong! "Trust Life's unfolding..."

Trust yourself! Something

Trust yourself! Something must not be "right" with her. Keep your guard up!
