About Me

More about Me: I have been writing most of my life. I attended college but did not graduate. I have two boys whom I homeschool and who routinely treat me to frogs in pockets and grilled lizard entrees. I've been married (to the same man) for almost thirteen years. I write and read in the oddest places: red lights, elevators, walking down the road, pretty much anywhere I might be. And it can definitely be some strange spots, since I am also constantly seeking out new photographic opportunities. My goal in life at this point is to begin making enough money to support my household with my writing and my photography.

Interests: Local artists, architecture, history, reading and writing, and photography. I am interested in the history behind everything, from Post-It Notes to the crazy family that lives down the road. Wait a minute.... we are that crazy family. I like to find the unnoticed things in the world and make them into lovely photographs that freeze time in a frame. I like to explore abandoned buildings and trying to figure out what happened there, and photographically recording thier existence. Graveyards are a favorite of mine, as the shrines that people tend to build for thier loved ones is often filled with a heartfelt emotion that cannot be found in any other place on earth. In case you haven't noticed, I am the family weirdo, but that's okay, because that's what I have been my entire life and I don't expect it to change any time soon.
