Too long

Ahh,friends.. It's been far too long since my last blog.. and for that matter, since my last run.  I've been blessed with the news that we're expecting another child and life has been a little busy around the house, as you can imagine..

The winter has been a little tough on us now with our two little ones passing viruses amongst each other and catching the grownups in the crossfire.. So needless to say, we've spent more time indoors this winter than we usually would like to... But the winter is almost over!

I've been happy to shed my outer layers of goretex jackets and super-warm tights for my bike commute to work and have even managed a few rides with regular shorts/jersey and no additional layers in the last couple of weeks!  It's amazing..  The days are getting longer, the kids are playing outside and the grass is getting greener!  Soon we'll be five and start running again!

Alas, I don't think there's any marathons for us in the near future, but certainly will try to do some long-distance races such as a half-marathon here or there... So we'll stick to regular fun runs, bike-commuting to work and playing with the wife and kiddos as much as possible!  With the better weather, it's only a matter of time before we hit the trails again and start smelling the flowers!

Miss y'all and promise to write more soon!
