Spring Forward

Hello to all you fabulous faces out there! Spring has arrived and it’s time to emerge from hibernation. Let’s spring forward with the hottest trends in makeup for the season.

Hot Lips
Gloss it over with sheer, shiny pinks. Berry, fuchsia, and coral, rule. Berries work best on those with darker complexions, while roses work for those fair-haired babes. Look for blue-based shades to make your teeth look whiter! Tints and stains work best for this trend; saturated colors are too much maintenance.
Try Avon Twist and Glide Lip Gloss
Cool Color
Play up your eyes with color till your heart’s content.  A sheer wash of color in amethyst, lavender, or teal is tops! For daytime, try a bright liner and smudge it up for a softer look.   The key for this trend is to keep the rest of the face simple; nude lips and cheeks balance a strong eye.
Try MAC Eye Paints
Bronze Babe
Look like you’re wearing nothing but a tan in this trend. A tinted moisturizer, bronzer, highlighter, and mascara are all you need to pull this one off. Use bronzer in place of a blush, highlight cheekbones and brow bones, and define eyelashes. Ready, set, go!
Try Benefit’s Hoola
Soft Focus
Femme it up with shimmering shades on eyes, cheeks, and lips. Silvers accentuate lighter skin tones, and gold works on those with darker complexions.  Keep it soft; the key is not to be overdone. Ditch the heavy pencil eye liners and opt for powder or gel liners.
Try Shiseido Accentuating Color Stick

Until next time, be beautiful, inside and out!
